SILUS is a collaboration between the Wharton GIS Lab and the USGS Science Impact Program.
SILUS is co-directed by Dr. Susan M. Wachter (Director of Wharton GeoSpatial Laboratory) and Dr. Richard L. Bernknopf (Lead Scientist for Western Geographic Science Center- USGS)
The Mission of SILUS:
Encouraging interdisciplinary research across the natural and social sciences to promote greater understanding of urban and regional land-use development patterns that evolve over space and time.
